Research themes
- Geospatial foundation models that can be fine-tuned for many downstream tasks rather than rebuilt for each one.
- "Intelligent geography": coupling deep learning with spatial statistics so that predictions remain interpretable and uncertainty-aware.
- Applications in climate risk, wildfire exposure, and urban sustainability.
